ELEC 1701   Beginning Router Configuration 2  
  This course focuses on initial router configuration, Cisco IOS (inter-network operating system), software management, routing protocol configuration, TCP,IP, and access control lists (ACLs). Students will develop skills on how to configure a router, manage Cisco IOS software, configure routing protocol on routers, and set the access lists to control the access to routers. Skills will be learned through on-line curriculum and testing, use of hands-on equipment, and through the use of network configuration simulation software.  
  Prerequisite: ELEC1700 Co-requisite: CST/ELEC 1700. CST/MMDT/ELEC 1001 is recommended.
