ELEC 2623   Programmable Logic Controllers 4  
  PLC's are used in almost every segment of industry where automation is required. This course provides a practical hands-on approach on installing, programming, maintaining and troubleshooting a PLC controlled system. The student will work with ladder logic diagrams. Using various input transducers and output devices, the student will write programs to control specific industrial processes. Identifying PLC hardware components and their use and troubleshooting practices are strongly emphasized. SUSPENDED: Effective Fall 2010 Signed by AASC - Nov. 2010
