NURS 2150   Clinical Synthesis 5  
  This clinical course prepares the student to assume the role of the graduate professional nurse. In this clinical course, the student will care for the client* with multiple and complex care needs across the lifespan in a variety of care experiences. The course prepares the student to expand the application of knowledge, skills and attitudes with emphasis on acute, chronic and wellness management. Students will have the opportunity to experience the leadership role of the professional nurse. The student will also participate in simulation experiences with a focus on the care of the client* with multiple and complex needs. The credit-to-contact hour ratio for students in this clinical course is 1:3. Students must have successfully completed or concurrently be enrolled in BIOL 215. *Client refers to the individual, family or community SUSPENDED PER AASC 12/5/2019  
  Prerequisite: Successful completion of all semester one associate degree nursing courses
