The educational assistant program is Minnesota's original and most successful post-secondary training program for paraprofessionals in education, training, and related services. This program provides the skills needed to work in an educational setting. Paraprofessionals work with children in elementary schools. A paraprofessional is an employee whose position is either instructional in nature or who delivers direct services to individuals and/or their parents. A certificate option is also available.

NOTE: Program participants are subject to background checks according to Minnesota state law.
