Computer Aided Drafting and Design is the process of visualizing and developing three-dimensional drawings that production workers use to fabricate and assemble products. Students will develop entry-level drafting skills on state-of-the-art equipment and software used in industry today. The Willmar campus program is certified for the design draftsman level by the American Institute for Design and Drafting. The Hutchinson and Willmar campuses use CAD (Computer Aided Drafting) software such as AutoCAD, Mechanical Desktop, and Pro-Engineer. The Hutchinson campus offers a personalized, self-paced format as well as a structured format.
