AVT | 2611 | Electro-Acoustic Simulation | 3
The proper design of audio systems requires the accurate prediction of the system performance in the acoustical environment in which it is to operate. Audio video systems integrators need to be able to use computerized simulation tools to predict the electro-acoustical response of the sound system in the client's venue. This course provides basic competencies in the operation, use, and interpretation of Electro-Acoustical Simulation software. Students in the course will gain hands-on experience in the use of the software for room and loudspeaker system modeling and the prediction of numerous acoustical room-system measures.
