This course covers the social, physical, emotional, and intellectual development of individuals with differing abilities. Special topics covered include strategies for learners who have been identified as having special needs and looking for indications that a child may need to be referred for additional assessments. Students will integrate strategies that support inclusive programs for children, apply legal and ethical requirements including, but not limited to American Disabilities Act and Individuals with Disabilities Education Act. |
