This course presents concepts in advanced airway management and resuscitation of pediatric patients in the pre-hospital and hospital settings. The course provides a systematic approach to the pediatric patient who is acutely ill or injured. Topics include emergency pharmacology for pediatric patients, interosseous infusion, pediatric intubation, and pediatric resuscitation. Upon successful completion of the program, the student is eligible for Pediatric Advanced Life Support credentialing from the American Heart Association.
