This course examines the concepts and principles of management, including the management problem-solving process today. Topics include the manager as a person, human relations, ethics, diversity and inclusion, organizational culture, and transformational leadership. Students will study the four functions of management: planning, organizing, leading, and controlling, which are the foundation of management and provide context to how managers plan, make decisions, organize, motivate, lead and control operations. |
