SPCH 228   Argument and Reasoning 3  
  An introduction to the field of argumentation, addressing the basic structure, types and critical analysis of argument. Students will learn to identify types of reasoning, argument fallacies and pseudo reasoning, and will apply this knowledge in the construction of arguments supporting and attacking given positions. A course designed to improve a student's critical thinking skills. Replaced by CMST 228 effective Fall 2011.
