Applicants to the program in Occupational Therapy at the University of Minnesota must have a bachelor's degree (BA or BS in any field except occupational therapy) with a GPA of 3.0 or above. A minimum of 20 hours observation, volunteering, or work in occupational therapy is required for applicants.

Students transferring to the University of Minnesota must complete PMed 1003, Orientation to Occupational Therapy (1 credit) available in distance education and classroom format at the University of Minnesota.
