TRACK II: PROFESSIONAL PEACE OFFICER EDUCATION (PPOE) This program is designed for the individual who wants to become a peace officer (City Police Officer, Deputy Sheriff, State Trooper, DNR Conservation Officer) in the state of Minnesota. The student is awarded an Associate in Arts degree upon successful completion of the prescribed curriculum of 64 semester credits with a cumulative GPA of 2.00. The student must also complete LAWE 1010 practicum (skills) to be eligible to take the MN POST Board licensing exam. Students who pass this exam are eligible to be licensed peace officers in the state of Minnesota.
