The Ridgewater College Nursing Mobility program option is designed for Licensed Practical Nurses who wish to obtain an Associate in Science degree in Nursing and become Registered Nurses. If you are a Licensed Practical Nurse, the Nursing Mobility program enables you to earn an A.S. degree in Nursing upon completion of two transition courses and semesters three and four of the Nursing program.

Admission Criteria for the Mobility Program

  • Attend Nursing Information Session
  • Current unrestricted Minnesota PN license
  • High School graduate or GED recipient
  • Accepted Ridgewater College student
  • Assessment Testing Reading: college level (100 level) or take ENGL 99 English: college level (ENGL 121) or take ENGL 94 Math: college level (MATH 109 or above) or take MATH 98
  • GPA of 2.5 or higher in PN program

    NOTE: You must complete these requirements prior to applying for the Nursing Mobility Pathway. You must earn a "C" grade or better in all admission requirements in order to apply to the mobility program.
